Standard Fees and Honorariums:

All travel, meals and accomodation expenses, plus:

• One-hour lecture from existing lecture notes: $500.00
• One-hour original lecture, written for the specific occasion: $1000.00.
• Half-day seminars: $1250.00; full-day: $1500.00; two-day seminars: $2000.00.
• For each additional day: add $250.00 per day.
• Special discounts considered on a case basis for local or charitable groups; please inquire.

Crime

Based upon extensive field research across the nation. The linkage between rising crime and evolving philosophical ideas about responsibility and rights. "Inside the criminal mind." Theories that "explain" criminal activity; courtroom and prison practices that arise from those theories. "The Excuse-Making Industry." Reforms consistent with a philosophy of individualism, rights and the free market system.

Environmentalism

The philosophy of modern environmentalism. Its basic premises & how they shape specific environmentalist concerns/campaigns. "Greens" vs. "Deep Ecologists." Environmentalism vs. reason/individualism/capitalism. Environmental scares: global warming, ozone depletion, pesticides (based on national investigations). Refuting scares. The philosophical antidote.

Homelessness

Based upon another nationwide field investigation. The origins of the "homelessness" problem. Who are the homeless? What keeps them homeless? Homelessness, individual responsibility and the welfare state. Capitalism and homelessness.

Individualism

A moral defense of the individualist roots of the free society. Common misunderstandings of individualism. Objectivism. Libertarianism. Anarchism.

Promoting the Free Society

Methods of individualist persuasion. Cultural optimism.
